Terms of Use
Last updated 10/20/26
These terms cover your use of loticwines.com and every order you place with us. By using the site or ordering, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, and our Membership Terms also apply if you join Delta or Tributary.
1. Who we are
Lotic Wines is a brand of Lotic Brands LLC, a Washington limited liability company. “Lotic,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Lotic Brands LLC. “You” means anyone using this site or ordering from us.
Lotic Brands LLC, 6523 California Ave SW #423, Seattle, WA 98136. hello@loticwines.com
2. You must be 21 or older
You must be 21 or older to order wine from us or receive a delivery. By ordering, you confirm that you are 21 or older and that the person signing for the delivery will be too. We may verify your age before we ship, and we’ll cancel and refund any order we can’t verify.
3. Orders and prices
Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and sales tax are added at checkout, and you’ll see the full total before you pay. Sales tax is charged where required, based on the delivery address.
We accept your order when it ships. We may limit quantities, or decline or cancel an order, for example if we can’t verify age, can’t legally ship to the address, or a price was posted in error. If we cancel, we refund you in full.
Our wine is sold for personal use only, not for resale.
4. Payment
Online orders are paid by card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Your card is charged when you place your order.
Corporate and bulk orders can be invoiced. Write to hello@loticwines.com.
5. Shipping
Shipping is based on the number of bottles in your order. It’s the same whether or not you’re a member, and it’s shown at checkout before you pay. These rates apply to delivery within the contiguous United States.
| Bottles in your order | Ground shipping |
|---|---|
| 12 or more | Free |
| 3 to 11 | $15 flat |
| 1 to 2 | $25 flat |
We ship by FedEx Ground, but reserve the right to change carrier based on rates or service. Faster shipping, where offered, is charged in full at checkout and isn’t covered by free or flat-rate shipping.
Someone 21 or older must sign for every delivery. The carrier won’t leave wine at the door. If no one is available, the carrier will may make up to two more attempts. If a delivery comes back to us because no one could sign or the address was wrong, we’ll be happy to reship at the carriers shipment fee.
6. Where we ship
We’re building out our shipping licenses state by state. We’ll add each state here as its license is issued. Until a state is listed, we can’t accept orders for delivery there, and we’ll cancel and refund any that come through.
7. If something’s wrong with your wine
Because wine is a regulated product, we can’t accept returns, and we can’t cancel an order once we’ve started preparing it for delivery.
If your wine arrives damaged in transit, broken or leaking, email hello@loticwines.com with your order number and we’ll send a replacement at no cost to you.
If you’re not happy with the quality of a wine, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll replace it. We replace wine rather than refund it.
If your delivery is more than 7 business days late, write to us and we’ll track it down.
If we cancel an order ourselves, as described in Section 3, the refund goes back to the card you paid with.
8. Weather and delivery risk
Wine doesn’t travel well in extreme heat or cold. We may hold a delivery until conditions improve, usually until the start of the following week, and we’ll email you if we do.
During warmer months, you can add cold packs to your delivery at checkout.
For deliveries within California, title to the wine passes to you in California. For deliveries to other states, title passes as the law of the delivery state requires. We carry the risk of damage while your wine is in transit, and Section 7 explains how we replace it.
9. Our 5% giving
5% of what you pay for the wine goes to a conservation partner you choose. It’s calculated on the wine in your order, after any member pricing, and doesn’t include shipping or sales tax. A $240 case sends $12. It applies to every order, member or not.
- Choosing a partner. You choose from the organizations on our Environmental Partners page, and you can change your choice anytime.
- If you don’t choose, your 5% will still be given to our environmental partners for underfunded projects they are working on
- When it’s paid. We send each partner its share at least every 90 days and keep records of every gift.
- How long it runs. The program is ongoing, with no end date and no cap. If we ever change the percentage or how it’s calculated, we’ll post the change here at least 30 days before it takes effect.
The gift is made by Lotic, so it isn’t tax-deductible for you.

We work to keep the site accurate, but it’s provided as is, and we can’t promise it will always be error-free or available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. Changes don’t affect orders already placed. Changes to memberships follow the notice rules in our Membership Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
If something goes wrong, write to us first at hello@loticwines.com. Most things can be fixed with a conversation.
